General Information: Costa Teguise is one of the main resort areas in Lanzarote, situated along the North east coast of the island. This is an ideal base to enjoy both aspects of Lanzarote from the mainstream immediate areas within the resort, through to the surrounding more rural aspect of Lanzarote.

Less than a 20 minute car journey will lead you to explore, rugged untouched areas to enjoy the real Lanzarote vibe including Haria and Teguise village. Plus there are a number of Cesar Manrique attractions close by, please visit our insight areas to learn more.

Pueblo Marinero Market:

There are two local Markets in Pueablo Marinero, Costa Teguise:

§  Thursday morning the local produce market

§  Friday evening a general market. 

§  Sunday in La Villla de Teguise which is a short taxi ride or bus journey away.

Costa Teguise Weather Guide: The weather in Lanzarote is usually very good all year through, although perhaps slightly windier at times in Costa Teguise, this can be a welcome break from the heat during certain times of the year. 

Local Shopping: The local shops are free flowing and aimed highly at the tourist sector: Banks, Pharmacies, supermarkets, electrical stores, general gift shops there are endless shopping facilities throughout the resort.

Costa Teguise by night: Fairly low key in comparison to Puerto Del Carmen which is the main resort in Lanzarote. However, there are ample restaurants which are open until late, plus a good selection of bars (British and local style).

Local Transport: The public transport is extremely reliable, ideal for those who wish to kick back and not have to rely on having a car. However if you want to really get the most out of your holiday to Lanzarote and explore some of the many tourist attractions throughout the island, we highly recommend that visitors rent a car.
