Chic Suggestions - Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast with only 100km separating 'Cape Juby' in Morroco to 'Punta De La Entallada' in Fuerteventura. This is also the second largest of the Canaries and has more than 150 beautiful white beaches on the island, many of which can be classed as some of the best in Europe.

An idyllic day out when visiting Fuerteventura to really take in the scenery would be to rent a bicycle or take a guided tour (please contact us for our recommendations). The roads are exceptionally good with brilliant access along the coastline to the awe inspiring sand dunes.

Fuerteventura is famous for its brilliant range of water sporting opportunities! Fishing, Surfing, kite surfing, windsurfing plus day trips for relaxation and snorkelling or diving in the clear blue waters. There is also a brilliant power kite school to use kite buggies and practise kite surf without getting wet!

This is a peaceful and scenic Island with diverse landscape and sea views, ideal for a tranquil breaks. For the active tourist wanting to get out, enjoy walks, bike rides, Golf breaks and water sports this is the perfect Canary Island destination.

 

The black lava landscapes of Lanzarote form a striking contrast to the white sand of Fuerteventura. Close to the port area of ‘Playa Blanca’ visitors can enjoy a spectacular day trip to the Timanfaya national park otherwise known as Fire Mountain. To learn more about Lanzarote click here

Two Ferry services run at various and regular intervals throughout the day to and from Corralejo Fuerteventura and Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Crossing time is between 20 and 30 minutes.
