Airport journey by car: 35-40 minutes

Main beach: Playa Grande & natural rock pools, excellent snorkelling!

Local Attractions: Calm village atmosphere, great local food and peaceful vibe. Only 10 minute walk to Arrieta and 10 minute drive to Costa Teguise.

Local activities: An extremely popular area to access Surf beaches, plus some fantastic Cesar Manrique attractions nearby.

General Information: Punta Mujeres is a small (non tourist) Canarian village situated on the North east coast of Lanzarote. This extremely picturesque area is perfect for a peaceful relaxing holiday, but if you wish to take up some livelier activities, including surfing, trekking, Kayaking or if you fancy a lively ‘in resort’ fun afternoon/evening, one of the main resorts in Lanzarote is only a 10 minute car journey - Costa Teguise

Punta Mujeres Weather Guide: The weather in Lanzarote is usually very good all year through, although perhaps slightly windier at times on the North east coast, this can be a welcome break from the heat during certain times of the year.

Local Shopping: The local shops are low key but with everything you need at hand: Cash point, Pharmacia, supermarket, Bakery & Fruit and vet local produce shop. For a big shop we highly recommend that guests take a trip into Costa Teguise to the large Spar supermarket.

Punta by night: Fairly low key but with great local restaurants and small bars to enjoy a glass of wine or two, Arrieta is also close by with a slightly larger selection of great local cuisine!

Getting around: The public transport is reliable for getting into the capital area of Arrecife. If you want to really get the most out of your holiday to Lanzarote and explore some of the many tourist attractions throughout the island, we highly recommend that visitors rent a car. Top Tip: why not visit another Canary Island! Punta Mujeres is only 5-8 minutes car journey from the lovely Orzola village, here there is a small ferry port which offers a regular and reliable ferry service to La Graciosa. The perfect beach day opportunity!
